Financial Institutions get forced to do some unfortunate things to fit in. Many of them are made by their core provider to make use of terminals connected to a mainframe in order to get any real work done.

To ease the pain of his coworkers, Eric was asked to develop macros that would automate tedious activities on the mainframe. This included the yearly processing of debit card fees, the collection of data from loan accounts to prepare for the sale of such loans and more.

The end result? Happy coworkers that had been spared from certain RSIs.
